Prianka is an award-winning Australian journalist with over a decade of experience reporting on the Pacific region. Her work spans politics, current affairs, business, and the environment, with a focus on producing original, multiplatform stories that bring to light the voices and issues often overlooked in media outlets. Prianka has produced stories for both Australian and international news organisations, working in the United States, Australia, and throughout the Pacific.

Her reporting has been featured in leading publications such as The Washington Post, BBC, The Guardian, ABC, Benar News, and Cosmos Magazine, among others. Prianka has received a 2015 Departmental Fellowship in Journalism at NYU, the 2022 Results Media Leader Award, and a Freelance Investigative Reporters and Editors award. In 2024, she received the Walkley Foundation’s Sean Dorney Grant for Pacific Journalism.
